YouTubers do a lot to increase the views of their videos. In many ways, they deceive the audience. However, this time a YouTuber named Trevor Jacob from America has done a strange thing to boost his views.
He jumped out of a private plane in mid-air and landed with a parachute. Then he crashed the plane. Jacob uploaded the entire video of the plane crash and his dramatic survival on his YouTube channel.
Interestingly, he misled people by claiming that this whole thing was real. But it was all pre-planned. What to do, how to save himself, were all part of his scheme.
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) later investigated and exposed the truth. The FAA condemned the incident and revoked his pilot certificate.
In December 2021, he crashed the plane in Los Padres Forest, California. He has admitted his responsibility for the incident and apologized.
However, Jacob is out on bail after such an act. U.S. authorities said he could face up to 20 years in prison.
